60 Percent Of The 2024 Election Voters From Beginner Voters, KPU Hopes Their Political Education Has Been Fulfilled
SOUTH KALIMANTAN - The number of novice voters in the 2024 General Election is predicted to reach 60 percent of the total voters. The South Kalimantan KPU hopes that young people will get sufficient information about electoral matters before making their choice.
"So the voices of young people who vote for beginners are very decisive, therefore make sure to come to the TPS to vote," said South Kalimantan KPU member M Fahmi Failasopa in Banjarmasin, Sunday, June 4, as reported by Antara.
Fahmi said that political education is about electoralism before making choices, both for presidential and legislative candidates to regional head candidates, is important.
Therefore, he continued, political literacy is considered important to touch young people who will experience their first experience of participating in the election next year.
So it is hoped that the sound given is really based on intelligence to think in choosing the best figure and he believes in.

The implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Elections which began with the voting for the legislature and the president on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, there were 13,585 polling stations (TPS) spread across 2,016 villages or sub-districts in 156 sub-districts in two cities and 11 districts in South Kalimantan.
The KPU set a list of temporary voters (DPS) in South Kalimantan as many as 3,040,149 people for the 2024 General Election consisting of 1,520,595 male voters and 1,519,554 female voters.
