IDI Chairman Moh. Adib Khumaidi Emphasizes The Importance Of Collaboration Between Doctors And Health Workers
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) DR. dr. Moh. Adib Khumaidi, SpOT, emphasized the importance of collaboration between doctors and other health workers in dealing with public health.
He conveyed this in his remarks at the opening of the 115th Indonesian Doter Service Day (HBDI) on the front terrace of the Banjar Baru City Hall, South Kalimantan, Friday, May 19.
The HBDI momentum, which is commemorated on May 20, colleagues meet each other and serve together. "What is the role of IDI member doctors in collaborating with health workers and other Health Professional Organizations will look very strong at this time. This collaboration is what encourages us together to build health in their respective regions," he said.
Doctor Adib said, is a strategic partner for the government and society. "Doctors and health workers have always been the main strategic partners for the government and society, serving the region and region. We believe that this HBDI event can increase the sense of togetherness and solidity of doctors because the future health challenges will be much more," he said.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Banjar Baru HM. Aditya Mufti Ariffin really appreciated the implementation of the peak of HBDI activities in South Kalimantan held by IDI. In addition, Aditya also expressed his high appreciation for the hard work of health workers, especially doctors who are in health services to the community because they are tireless and time to devote themselves to being at the forefront of public health.
"I understand how hard the struggle of all doctors and other health workers who are struggling at the forefront is to maintain the quality of public health," said Aditya, who hopes that IDI can help improve public health levels.

Activities carried out include free treatment specialist doctors, construction of clean water sources, construction of healthy latrines, curvature and screening of health, social service, mass circumcision, blood donation, as well as various facilities for accelerating stunting handling in Indonesia. This activity opens a series of HBDI activities carried out in more than 500 areas throughout Indonesia which will be carried out by 34 IDI Regions and 456 IDI branches throughout Indonesia. According to Dr Sigit Prasetia Kurniawan, Sp.PD, K-HOM, FINASIM as the Chair of IDI South Kalimantan Region, the host of the 115th HBDI event, Indonesian Doctor Service Day (HBDI) will be centered in 5 (five) areas in the South Kalimantan region, namely; Pandahan Kec Village. Bati-bati Tanah Laut, Margasari Kec. Candi Laras Selatan Tapin, Lokaksado and Pendopo Regent Hulu Sungai Selatan and Q-Mall Banjarbaru on Friday Sunday, 19-21 May 2023.
