Traders At Anyar Market In Tangerang Become Victims Of Beating Members Of Satpol PP During A Commotion

TANGERANG - A viral video on social media showing the anarchist actions of the Tangerang City Satpol PP on a number of traders while carrying out control.

The video uploaded by the @Viral_Ciledug account shows dozens of Satpol PP officers trying to control traders at Anyar Market, Tangerang City.

But in the process, they did it with arrogance and even violence. They saw that one of the traders was slammed and fell and then beaten.

The merchant, who was afraid, did not retaliate against the violence carried out by the Tangerang City Satpol PP officers.

The VOI team tried to come to the location to find out the whereabouts of the viral video. Met by one of the traders with the initials A said the incident occurred on Friday, April 28.

He said the incident was allegedly due to the Satpol PP's frustration with traders. According to him, the attitude taken by the officers was quite excessive.

"It's too much. (Even though) Traders don't refuse (to be brought under control), if they are put in order, just put it in order. (But) the table is transported, "said A when met at the location, Wednesday, May 3.

He said that apart from being slammed, the victim was also hit from behind by the Satpol PP.

"I want to make a mistake. I even got a tonjok from behind," he said.

Kasatpol PP Tangerang City, Wawan Fauzi when contacted by telephone did not respond. Likewise, when contacted via WhatsApp short message, there was no response.
