MUI Reveals Conditions Of Victims Of The MUI Office Shooting

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for Fatwa, KH Asrorun Niam Sholeh revealed the condition of the injuries suffered by the victim of the shooting of an unknown man at the Central Jakarta MUI Office, Monday, May 2, at 10.00 WIB.

He said that currently Tri and Bambang are in the middle of hospital officials. In fact, continued Niam, for Tri, 10 stitches were suffered.

"Mr. Tri has 10 stitches on his hand. (Meanwhile) I don't know exactly if I haven't found it. But a post-mortem is being taken for further investigation purposes," Niam told reporters at the Central Jakarta MUI Office, Monday, May 2.

Niam explained that both of them suffered injuries as a result of the incident. One of them was due to being hit by shards of glass.

"The position of avoiding the shot was behind the glass, but because the glass was hit by a broken bullet scattered and he was hit by the shards of the glass," he said.

He added that the Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Komarudin, one of the victims suffered an air softgun wound on the back. However, there were minor injuries.

"The victim is currently lightly injured, yes, he has a gunshot wound from an air softgun. The victim had 2 one on his hand, he said he hit the other glass which was hit by a shot," he said.

According to VOI monitoring, the Inavis and Brimob Teams left the Central Jakarta MUI office on Monday, May 2, at 15.03 WIB.

It appears that the Inavis team is carrying cardboard, folders and iron wrapped in plastic.
