Reveals Criteria For Candidates For Ganjar's Companion, PDIP: Adjust And Complement Each Other
Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto revealed the criteria for a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) who is suitable to accompany Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election.
Exemplifying the First Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno and Muhammad Hatta as his representatives, anyone who assists Ganjar must have a match and be able to complement each other.
"Yes, we have experience living as a nation and state. In Bung Karno's era, Bung Hatta was an irreplaceable single dwi. Then, we see how suitability is, the chemistry complements each other," said Hasto to reporters at the PDIP DPP Office, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Thursday, April 27.
Another example that Hasto mentioned was when Megawati Soekarnoputri served as the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia together with Hamzah Haz. He said the two of them became one unit and even each decision had to be made together.
"When Mrs. Megawati in her pick mark was matched by the MPR to meet Mr. Hamzah Haz and Mr. Hamzah from PPP to vice president from Mrs. Megawati at that time, Mrs. Mega clearly spoke with her that the president and vice president were one leadership unit, if one coughed and the other coughed," he said.
"So then he advised Pak Hamzah to lead the trial, if I want to make a decision before knocking on the hammer if there is something that is not pleasing, please give me a code. This shows an extraordinary unity of leadership," continued Hasto.

With these various examples, PDIP wants any vice presidential candidate who accompanies Ganjar to unite. This is an important key, especially since the challenges that will be faced in the future are not easy.
"The pandemic is not over yet. (Condition, red) is a geopolitical that creates a food, energy, economic crisis (occurring, ed). Our educational efforts can be much greater, research and innovation to be independent. So that the best will be taken," concluded Hasto.
