Eid Completed, DKI Provincial Government Checks Hundreds Of Companies Have Not Paid Employee THR
Head of the Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Disnakertransgi) Hari Nugroho said his party was examining hundreds of companies that had not paid the Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri holiday allowance (THR) to their employees.
Hari said the object of the company being examined by the supervisory team was based on reports that entered during the month of Ramadan this year. The company was reported to have violated Government Regulation (PP) Number 11 of 2023.
"After this Eid, our supervisory team is working to examine companies that are categorized as violating ministerial regulations or PP related to THR," said Hari at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, April 27.
So far, there are 746 reports that have been submitted with 432 companies that have been reported to have not paid the THR at all or not. So, there are several reports of complaining of the same company.
"Of the 432 companies, we are currently processing 358 companies, 31 companies have not been processed, 43 of which have been completed. Those who have not, will continue to be investigated," said Hari.
Furthermore, Hari explained, the most reported types of companies have not paid THR for employees engaged in services and trade. Both types of businesses are still not fully recovered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"After COVID-19 is over, people will definitely demand that the company is in stable condition. However, currently it is still building from COVID-19," said Hari.

Meanwhile, there are various sanctions that companies can impose that do not pay their THR. The heaviest sanction is the revocation of business licenses. However, so far no company has received the sanctions.
"First checked, there is a memorandum of first examination of the company. Later, given 14 days. As soon as checked, we will check again the second check note. But, usually when they have examined the second, they pay the THR," explained Hari.
