1,222 RTH In Tangerang Will Be Renovated, Each House Is Budgeted For IDR 25 Million

TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab), Banten targets 1,222 uninhabitable housing units (RTH) to become habitable through the Gebrak Pakumis program in all sub-districts in the area.

"This year we dissected 1,222 uninhabitable housing units," said Head of the Tangerang Regency Housing, Settlement and Funeral Service, Bambang Saptho Nurthahja, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 6.

He said the target for renovating 1,222 uninhabitable houses (rutilahu) will be carried out in every village located in the Tangerang Regency area with each budget for each housing unit of Rp. 25 million.

"The implementation is carried out by UPK in each sub-district in Tangerang Regency. With a budget of IDR 25 million for each housing unit," he said.

He revealed that all the rutilahus that will be repaired are the same size and type by adjusting the realized budget.

The requirements for housing assistance, he said, were based on an application from the local village or sub-district government which had been listed in the sub-district database. Furthermore, the proposed house must also be categorized as uninhabitable and the status of the land belonging to the (certificate) or village certificate.

"So, we have a database in each sub-district that we open every year. All of that has been recorded in the sub-district, we just have to summarize and provide stages, every year according to the budget to be carried out," he said.

He added that in addition to building houses to be habitable, the Tangerang Regency Housing, Settlement and Cemetery Office also targets 4,200 latrine units in the construction of sanitation in 2023.

"For sanitation, it is quite large, because there are still quite a few who do not have sanitation. So, we are targeting as many as 4,200 latrine units," he said.
