Cakra Abhipraya Collaborates With Pupuk Indonesia, Collaborates With Volunteer Candidates With Agricultural Insights In Dieng Plateau

JAKARTA - Cakra Abhipraya Responsive in collaborating with PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) to educate 80 volunteer candidates from various provinces in Indonesia. The program was implemented in Dieng Kulon Village, Banjarnegara, Central Java. Volunteer regeneration packaged in the DAMBAAN Social Tour (SudDEN Impact) received good reception from the Community and the Local Government.

The Social Tour Dambaan took place from June 21 to 25, 2023. It started with the opening ceremony at Arjuna Temple. Then the participants were divided into 3 service groups, which focused on the Bakti Agricultural, Environmental Service, and Educational Service.

Prospective volunteers are dominated by Gen-Z and Millennials who have concerns about social, environmental, and humanitarian issues. During their activities, they are accompanied by experienced leaders.

Chairman of Cakra Abhipraya Responsive, Putro Anugahlindu in his statement, Monday, June 26, said that prospective volunteers had the opportunity to stay at a farmer's house and take part in farming activities in person so that they could get to know more closely and understand more about the importance of the presence of farmers in human life.

In addition, the agricultural service team carried out many actions that intersect directly with the needs of farmers, by distributing 200 fertilizer packages, socializing the use of effective fertilizers and soil tests to measure soil fertility.

For the Community Service Team, they carried out 200 productive plant seeds planting as an effort to prevent the risk of landslides. As well as providing dozens of trash bins and three-wheeled garbage transportation vehicles, as well as carrying out clean actions by involving the Dieng Clean local community. Not only carrying out clean actions, they also socialized the importance of sorting waste to 350 elementary school children.

It is different from activities in Bakti Pendidikan, targeting 350 Elementary School Students, the majority of whom come from farmers' families, to gain insights about farmer regeneration. It is hoped that students can understand the important role of their parents' profession in supporting food security in Indonesia.

"Programs like this are new to our village, previously only research activities or KKN from campuses. Alhamdulillah, the Social Tour Dambaan volunteers gave fertilizers and medicines to 200 farmers' households. Hopefully this program can be sustainable," said Slamet Budiono, Head of Dieng Kulon Village.

Not only that, the impact of the Social Tour Dambaan also brought the role of BUMDES which succeeded in becoming a partner of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) by establishing the Pe-I Store which was named PANDAWA. With the initial transaction value reaching Rp. 100 million. This value comes from donations from social tourism volunteers.

"We want every participant of the Social Tour Damuan, to have experience and be able to photograph the reality of the agricultural world. Because it can be a provision when descending in disaster areas or other humanitarian activities," said Putro.

They are forged with group dynamics. Given the task of organizing, communicating with local residents, to learning to make decisions in deliberation. This is an illustration of how a volunteer must be ready and alert when going down in society.

Putro said that behind Dieng's fame there are problems that must be a common concern, namely the issue of waste and landslides.

"My team for days together with Mas Arafat from Pupuk Indonesia mapped social issues. We entered into various community nodes ranging from tourism activists, farmer groups, Dieng Bersih, and the Village Government. Before finally deciding Dieng Kulon as a collaboration area," he explained.

This collaboration applies the concept of Creating Shared Value (CSV) which is an effort to create shared value to reduce social and environmental problems. Such as activating local communities to be involved, and making Company services or products a way to increase the economic value of the local community.

The end of the series of activities of the Social Tour Daluan Program closed with Farmer Appreciation Night. The bright stage featured various regional arts displayed by students of SDN Dieng Kulon who were previously trained by Kaka from Cakra Abhipraya Responsive volunteers.

The event was attended by more than 500 people from teachers, parents of students, farmer groups, village officials, and representatives of PT Pupuk Indonesia officials.

"Alhamdulillah, the Social Tour Dambaan program is running smoothly. All committees and participants are in good health. Our calculation is that the number of beneficiaries of the program is around 550 people. In the future, Cakra is ready to open collaboration with all elements to create wider benefits in many places," concluded Putro.
