JAKARTA - Google is rolling out a new feature to the Gmail service, which allows you to schedule meetings both online and offline, according to an empty schedule between the two sides.

Usually, you might set a meeting schedule using additional apps like Calendar, or Google Calendar But now, Google is starting to roll out those capabilities to Gmail.

We added a feature to Gmail that helps you find a convenient 1:1 meeting time with other people faster. This is very useful when scheduling time with customers, partners, or people in your organization whose Google Calendar is not visible to you," Google wrote in its announcement on Tuesday, July 11.

This feature will be launched in stages starting July 11. Later, if you write an email, you will see a new Calendar icon with all the actions related to scheduling that you often see on Google Calendar.

The ability of this new feature is to allow you to:

Determining free time: This option will open your calendar on the right. Then, you can select and propose meeting times when you are free directly, without having to leave Gmail.

The email recipient can then review the proposed time and select one directly from the email to automatically get an email with a calendar invitation.

Create an event: In addition, you can also schedule meetings and redistribute event information in an email. The summary of the event will be automatically inserted into the email body to make it easy to share. Previously, this feature was available in the three-dot menu above the email conversation display.

This feature makes scheduling much easier by reducing back and forth in long email threads when negotiating or scheduling meeting times, Google added.
