JAKARTA - Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo memastikan lembaganya akan membantu memfasilitasi pebalap Moto3 Indonesia Mario Aji motor 600cc untuk latihan.

Dijo received the 19-year-old racer at the Kemenpora Office on Friday, July 28, 2023 at noon WIB, to discuss the assistance. The motorbike will later be used by Mario at the Mandalika Circuit.

"His presence to us at the Ministry of Youth and Sports was to convey that there were several needs to encourage the progress and progress of his career in Moto3," Dito said in a statement after the meeting.

Dito further ensured that the procurement of motorbikes for Mario Aji would not use the state budget. He said he had communicated with private institutions and they were ready to help.

"We will get the loan that will be used for Mario in November. So, Mario starts training at the Mandalika Circuit in November. For details, it is better to have a press statement," said Dito.

"This is an example of collaboration that does not always have to use the state budget. So, I also thank the parties who helped. Later we will announce it once it is official," he added.

Mario Aji this season has strengthened the Honda Asia Team for the second year in a row. He has appeared in eight races and has collected four points to sit in 25th place in the standings.
