Strictly Competing With Max Verstappen And Lewis Hamilton At The British GP F1, Lando Norris: This Is Crazy!

JAKARTA - McLaren's Lando Norris completed the English Formula 1 (F1) Grand Prix (GP) race on Sunday, July 9, in second place. He competed fiercely with Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who won the race.

Norris finished in second place with a time difference of 3.798 seconds.

"This is a crazy race. I also fought hard with Lewis (Hamilton), and I gave my strength to Max (Verstappen)," Norris said after the race.

"He (Norris) did a very good race today," said Verstappen about his opponent.

Meanwhile, Verstappen's victory is the second at the Silverstone Circuit, as well as his sixth consecutive victory in Formula 1 season 2023.

The Dutchman started the British GP as at the forefront, before finally Norris took the position shortly after.

Together with his team-mate, Oscar Piastri, two McLaren riders who drove with a special livery and this technical update also tried to put pressure on the reigning champion.

Norris defended his position as runner-up until the plaid flag was flown, as reported by Antara.

However, the previous third position was comfortably secured by Piastri, at least until the middle of the race, turning to British driver Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton, who also tried to defend his title as the 'King of Silverstone' this season.

However, this effort was still not enough to overtake Verstappen and Norris, until Hamilton finally finished the race in third place with a time difference of 6.783 seconds from the race leader.

"This achievement (podium) is not only because of me (racing), but because the audience at Silverstone is providing a lot of support. I feel that energy and support," Hamilton said.

"I would also like to congratulate Lando (Norris) and McLaren, they are my family, the place where I started everything (the F1 career)," he added.

This achievement also perfected a series of achievements, where this is Hamilton's 14th podium at the legendary English circuit.

On the other hand, the list of the top ten GP England this season is equipped by Piastri, George Russell (Mercedes), Sergio Perez (Red Bull), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), Alexander Albon (Williams), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari).

Meanwhile, the 12th round of Formula 1 will take place in Hungary on July 21-23.
