Tickets For The 2023 SEA Games Semifinals In Ganggaman, What Are The Plans For The U-22 Indonesian National Team To Face Cambodia?

JAKARTA - The U-22 Indonesian national team coach, Indra Sjafri, is relieved that his team managed to secure a ticket to the 2023 SEA Games semifinals. However, there is still one last match in the Group A phase against the host, Cambodia.

This match will be held on Wednesday, May 10, at the National Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh. Even though it was safe and ensured that he escaped, Indra Sjafri ensured that his team would remain serious and face Cambodia in the last match.

The coach from West Sumatra said that although his team had secured a place in the semifinals, the group stage competition still had to be taken seriously. Therefore, he will continue to draw up the best tactics for his team's play.

"So, there must also be a tournament strategy. Later we will discuss the coaching team and we will see which is the best for us," said Indra Sjafri.

The man who is also PSSI's Technical Director then revealed that during the match against Cambodia, he did not hesitate to make a reshuffle. Indra Sjafri will rotate to give his team enough rest time.

"For the fourth match, we will definitely play and shoot all the teams," said the former Bali United coach.

"We hope there will be a break for one week before the semifinals," he concluded.

For Cambodia, the match against the U-22 Indonesian national team is very important to ensure itself to the semifinals. The reason is that Cambodia has now only collected four points and is in third place after losing 2-0 to Myanmar at the National Olympic Stadium, last Sunday, May 7.
