BOJONEGORO - Presidential Chief of Staff, Moeldoko, ensured that the Presidential Staff Office would continue to support and oversee the smooth development project of Pertamina EP Cepu's Jambaran Tiung Biru Gas Field (JTB).

Because the largest gas field project in East Java can meet gas needs, both for the industrial environment and the general public.

The fulfillment of gas needs significantly contributes to supporting national stability. This great work really means something to the people of Indonesia, especially now that the world is facing an energy crisis," said Moeldoko during a working visit to the Jambaran Tiung Biru PEPC project, in Bojonegoro, Friday, August 4.

Moeldoko appreciated PEPC's efforts in managing the JTB Gas Field development project. Because it not only focuses on utilizing natural resources, but also supports the welfare of the surrounding community through the provision of assistance and entrepreneurship assistance.

In terms of employment, he continued, the JTB PEPC Gas Field development project also provides great opportunities for the local community.

There are more than a hundred local young people (Bojonegoro) who are educated, trained, and rearranged to become workers here (JTB PEPC). This is extraordinary," he said.

The 2013-2015 TNI Commander also expressed his gratitude to the PEPC as the manager of the JTB PEPC Gas Field development project which has worked optimally to meet community gas needs.

"You work in a quiet place like this but the impact is extraordinary. The gas is a little late, everyone is suffering, the gas can be channeled out there with a lot of smiles, but you can't see it. This noble work continues," said Moeldoko.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PEPC, Endro Hartanto, appreciated KSP's support in ensuring the smooth development project of the JTB Gas Field.

"Together with the local government and stakeholders here, it is hoped that the presence of this JTB project can contribute to the surrounding community," he said.

The Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC) Jambaran Tiung Biru Gas Field Development Project (JTB) is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN). JTB PEPC is one of the largest gas producers in Indonesia with gas sales production reaching 192 million standard cubic feet of gas (MMSCFD).

This production capability is able to provide gas availability for industrial needs and household needs through the gas network (jargas) program. The use of JTB gas as clean energy is in line with the energy independence policy for each region which will contribute positively to national energy independence.

During his working visit, the Presidential Chief of Staff, Dr. Moeldoko also directly reviewed the utilities of the JTB Pertamina EP Cepu Gas Field Project. Moeldoko was accompanied by Deputy IV KSP, Juri Ardiantoro, and KSP Main Expert, Hageng Nugroho.
