Tomorrow Panji Gumilang And His Children Will Be Examined At The Criminal Investigation Unit Of The Police

JAKARTA - Two of Panji Gumulang's children and four other witnesses will be questioned about the alleged Money Laundering (TPPU) of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, on August 1.

With this scheduling, the examination of the witnesses will coincide with Panji Gumilang.

"As for the other 6 witnesses, according to the explanation of their attorney, they will be asked for clarification on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, namely," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Monday, July 31.

Originally, the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri also scheduled an examination of Panji Gumilang on August 1. The head of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School will be questioned about the alleged blasphemy.

Returning to the four witnesses, two of them were Panji Gumilang's children with the initials IP and APU. Both are the chairmen and secretaries of the Indonesian Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI) which oversees the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.

Ramadhan said, if the witnesses were not present, investigators would conduct a case title. Later, it will be determined whether or not the TPPU is suspected to be increased to the investigation stage.

"If the six people are not present, the investigator will conduct a case title to raise the status from investigation to investigation," said Ramadhan.

Two of Panji Gumilang's children and other witnesses were previously scheduled to provide information on July 25 yesterday.

However, the witness was not present, so the investigator rescheduled on July 28. However, the witness again did not attend the summons for examination for certain reasons.
