BALI - Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BBMKG) Region III Denpasar revealed that the minimum cold temperature reaching 20 degrees Celsius in Bali is influenced by wind movement from Australia. In addition to being triggered by the Australian moonsoon, he continued, the indirect factors that contributed to the low temperature in Bali, including the apparent motion of the Sun which had an impact on the temperature in Australia and the surrounding oceans with the maximum temperature in the northern part of Earth. Cold air in Australia then moved to Indonesian territory so as to encourage cold temperatures. When entering the peak of the dry season in Bali, which is estimated to be July-August 2023, rainfall becomes rare and the sky is rarely covered with clouds. As a result, the geothermal heat due to solar radiation has also returned to the atmosphere. In addition, said Wiryajaya, the warm sea level temperature affects the surrounding air temperature. BMKG previously estimated that the peak of the dry season in Bali would occur in July-August 2023 because all season zones (zom) reached 20 zones that had entered the dry season.
