PDIP: Determination Of Vice Presidential Candidates Wait For Coalition Political Party Consolidation

The chairman of the PDIP DPP for Election Winning, Bambang Wuryanto, said that it is certain that the determination of the candidate for vice president will still have to wait for consolidation with the coalition party.

"Currently, many have suggested, then through the screening there are five names," he said when he was met on the sidelines of accompanying the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani to visit the Bordir Kudus MSME, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 25.

Of course, he said, in determining the name of the prospective vice presidential candidate accompanying President Ganjar Pranowo's candidate, it was decided by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

In making decisions, the General Chairperson of the PDIP emphasized that Bambang would also invite him to talk to parties that had joined. Among them, PPP, Perindo Party and Hanura Party.

"Of course the decision will go through the party congress and the decision is also before the registration period," he said.

Because the composition of the supporting pair for presidential and vice presidential candidates is not final, the vote target in Central Java has not yet been decided.

In addition, said Bambang, who is also the Chairman of the Central Java PDIP DPD, the composition of the opponent has not yet been seen, because only three new candidates have been seen.

"Whether the three of them can run, of course they don't know. Meanwhile, PDIP can certainly carry it alone," he said.
