This Rice Stall In Karawang Is Always Crowded With Buyers, Apparently Under The Guise Of Selling Drugs

The Karawang Police revealed the circulation or transaction of narcotics at a rice stall in the Karawang Regency area, West Java.

"The drug transaction at the place under the guise of a rice stall was revealed in the Operation Antik Lodaya in 2023 of the Karawang Police," said Head of Narcotics at the Karawang Police AKP Arif Jaenal Abidin, when exposing the disclosure of the case at the Karawang Police Headquarters, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 25.

From Operation Antik Lodaya 2023 of the Karawang Police, nine suspects were arrested at different locations.

The suspects were arrested during a transaction at a place under the guise of a rice shop.

"The perpetrators made transactions in a place under the guise of a rice stall with the aim of tricking the authorities and the community," he said.

The narcotics trafficking was revealed on suspicion in a place that is often visited by many people.

From the arrest, the police secured evidence in the form of narcotics of methamphetamine weighing 161.64 grams from four dealers. There are also certain types of drugs, namely 10,424 hexymer pills and tramadol from three dealers.

To account for their actions, the suspects were threatened and subject to articles of narcotics abuse.
