JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie will visit the Attorney General's Office (AGO) this afternoon. The acceleration of strategic projects is said to be one of the materials that will be discussed with the Attorney General, ST Burhanuddin. "Silaturahmi and encouraging acceleration, as ordered by the president regarding the previous national strategic projects in the Ministry of Communication and Information," said the Head of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana, to reporters, Monday, July 24. Of the several projects to be discussed, one of them is the construction of the 4G Base Transceiver Station (BTS). The project was hampered by a case of alleged corruption. Johnny G Plate, who at that time served as Minister of Communication and Information, was named a suspect. In fact, the case has entered the trial stage. The plan is for Budi Arie to arrive around 12.00 WIB. Later, the Attorney General and several main AGO officials will welcome him. "The Minister of Communication and Information is indeed the same as the ministry team in the context of hearings and gatherings related to assistance and escorting the acceleration of 4G BTS development," said Ketut. Meanwhile, Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie emphasized that the 4G BTS development process by Bakti Kominfo would be continued. In fact, it is targeted that the construction will be completed by the end of this year.

"When it comes to BTS, it must be continued, it must be realized, created. Targeting this year can be completed, no later than this year it can be completed," said Budi.
