Caught Playing Candy Crush Game During A Meeting Of Members Of The DKI DPRD, PDIP Will Sanction Cinta Mega

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP DPRD DKI Jakarta faction, Gembong Warsono, said that his party would hold a meeting to discuss imposing sanctions on members of his faction, Cinta Mega, who played games during the plenary meeting of the DPRD DKI yesterday.

"Today we will follow up. We will have a leadership meeting to determine the attitude toward those concerned. Will we give sanctions? What sanctions? We will decide later at a meeting this afternoon," said Gembong when contacted, Friday, July 21.

Yesterday, Gembong admitted that he had summoned Cinta Mega to ask for clarification on this matter. Cinta Mega explained to Gembong why she played games on her device. The delay in the schedule for the plenary meeting caused Cinta Mega, who came the first time, to wait longer.

So, Cinta Mega felt bored and played games on the tablet which she brought to the plenary meeting room before the meeting started. However, Cinta claimed that the game was not played when the plenary session started.

However, the PDIP faction will still dig up the truth from Cinta Mega's confession, whether she really was playing games when the meeting started or not.

"We first believe in the opinion concerned. However, the trust that we have placed will be investigated today, today's faction will have a leadership meeting to explore the existing problems," Gembong explained.

After discussing the imposition of sanctions, Gembong said that his party would report the results of the action to the DKI PDIP Regional Leadership Council (DPD) to be forwarded to the Central Leadership Council (DPP). Gembong doesn't even know what form of sanction the PDIP faction will impose on Cinta Mega.

"Yes, if it's mild, it might be a momentary warning, then if it's a written warning, it's not strong in nature. If it's a heavy sanction, it's a strict warning in writing," he said.

At yesterday's plenary meeting, Cinta Mega sat in the back row of members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, wearing a pink suit.

At that time, the plenary meeting which presented the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono had started. The meeting was opened by Deputy Chairperson of DPRD DKI Jakarta Zita Anjani and it only lasted eight minutes.

Then, DKI Jakarta DPRD Member Bambang Kusumanto submitted an interruption. It's just that Bambang's desk microphone had a problem and was repaired first.

While Bambang's desk microphone was being repaired, the plenary meeting was quiet. At this moment, it was seen that the display of the game was being played on the tablet that Cinta Mega brought to the plenary meeting room. When Heru Budi read his speech, the game display on the Cinta Mega's tablet screen was still running.

Cinta Mega claims that she did play a puzzle game called Candy Crush when the plenary session had not yet started.

Cinta Mega admits that she plays games because she is tired of waiting for the delayed start of the meeting. The plenary session should have been held at 13.00 WIB. However, the new meeting started at around 14.30 WIB.

"Please help. This is a clarification. Earlier we were waiting for the plenary session. I played Candy Crush before the plenary session. There's no such thing as gambling," Cinta Mega told reporters, Thursday, July 20.

However, when the meeting started, Cinta Mega admitted that she had forgotten to close the game she had previously played. "When the plenary meeting started, I forgot to turn off (the game). I didn't play. I immediately listened to the meeting. (The device) was just placed on the table," explained Cinta Mega.
