JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has again added three new features to the OneSehat Mobile platform that can be used to seek health information, monitor body conditions, and become a 'private assistant' in helping to maintain the health of users.

"One Healthy Mobile as a public health application belonging to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia again presents a new feature which is expected to provide easier access and more benefits to help people live healthier lives," said the Chief Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health Setiaji, confirmed, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 10.

The three new features include Drug Drinking, Health Diary, and Health Facilities that the public can take advantage of by updating One Healthy Mobile to the latest version 5.7.1, both on Android and iOS.

Setiaji said the drug-drinking feature is ready to become a 'private assistant' that can help to remind them to take time off by providing scheduled notifications on mobile phones.

Users can make reminders by adding drugs and other details. Such as doses, start date, drug consumption length, daily consumption amount, reminder time, to drug taking rules.

"This feature is integrated with the master data of the Indonesian Ministry of Health's Pharmacy Dictionary and Medical Devices. So, users can make reminders based on the drugs that have been registered on the dictionary," he said.

The trick is to give notification access to One Healthy Mobile to get a reminder to take the drugs that have been created. Users can also add more than one type of drug that is consumed.

In the Health Diary feature, users can record and monitor their health conditions independently. Currently, there are three conditions that can be recorded, namely height and weight (body mass index), blood pressure, and blood sugar.

After recording, an official recommendation from the Indonesian Ministry of Health will appear regarding what to do and it needs to be avoided according to user conditions to support a healthy lifestyle. Users can also record regularly to continue to monitor their own health conditions.

Specifically, through this feature users can also know the risk of contracting diabetes mellitus. The system will compare the data on the body mass index and blood sugar of users that have been inputted previously and issue risk analysis results for diabetes.

"In the future, this series feature will continue to be developed for other health records," he said.

Regarding the health care library feature, said Setiaji, it can be accessed on the 'Health Center' menu, or the same menu to access the 'Drug Center' feature which was first released to make it easier for users to access information related to cancer drugs.

The health worker's bibliography feature can be used by users to find profiles and information from doctors and dentists based on the desired location in all health centers and hospitals in Indonesia.

In addition, the search can also be filtered based on the name of the health facility (faskes) and the specialization of the required doctors.

"The doctor's data comes from the Master Health Index, which is integrated with the Ministry of Health's Health Human Resources Information System, so that the information displayed is the most updated and the public can find out where the practice doctor is and the Tamda Registration Letter number is," he said.
