Complaints About 'Deposits' Processed For 20 Days, Bripka Andry Decides To Return To Riau

JAKARTA - A member of the Riau Police Mobile Brigade, Bripka Andry Darma Irwan, visited the Police Propam Division to question complaints made regarding alleged abuse of authority. In addition, he also brought evidence to strengthen his complaint.

"I came to the Yanduan Div Propam office at the National Police Headquarters to ask about the report I made on Friday. Tell about the process," said Bripka Andry to reporters, Monday, June 19.

The reason is that Bripka Andry questioned the handling of his complaint to determine the next steps in the 'deposit' case. Moreover, he has been in Jakarta for two weeks.

From the results of communication with the Propam Division, Bripka Andry will be questioned regarding his complaint in the next 20 days.

With this information, Bripka Andry decided to return to Riau. However, it was not explained in detail about the time.

"I was informed earlier that I waited 20 days. We waited 20 days, we decided to return to Riau," he said.

Not only questioning the complaint handling process, Bripka Andry also included some evidence. However, the form of evidence was not conveyed.

The man who is now a DPO of the Riau Police only conveyed that the evidence submitted at this time was not entirely.

"Yes, only part of it is for the terms of the report. Later, after I was summoned after 20 days, my report was received," said Bripka Andry.

Bripka Andry previously made a complaint on Friday, June 16. The complaint was registered with the number SPP2/003137/VI/2023/BAGYANDUAN.

The main problem that was complained was the alleged abuse of authority of Kompol Petrus H. Simamora as Danyon B Pioneer of the Riau Police Satbrimob. He is considered to have received a certain amount of deposit and ordered us to seek deposit money.

Meanwhile, Bripka Andry Darma Irawan is a member of the Riau Police Mobile Brigade which is in the spotlight for uploading his vent to social media. It contained a deposit of Rp. 650 million to Commissioner Petrus H Simamora, who was his superior.

He dismantled the deposit because Bripka Andry was annoyed. He, who is a member of the Riau Police Mobile Brigade, was transferred to Battalion A Pekanbaru.

The transfer of the task was considered by Bripka Andry unfair. Because, he did nothing wrong. In fact, he always gives deposits to his superiors.

Meanwhile, Kompol Petrus has now been placed in a special place (pathus) because he is strongly suspected of abusing his authority. In fact, the Riau Police Propam is preparing for the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) session to determine sanctions against him.
