JAKARTA - Papuan inactive Governor Lukas Enembe protested when the KPK Public Prosecutor (JPU) read out the indictment for alleged receipt of bribes worth Rp45,843,485,350 and gratuities of Rp1 billion "Where did 45 people come from? It's not true!" said Lukas Enembe while sitting on the defendant's chair at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), Antara, Monday, June 19. Previously, KPK prosecutor Wawan Yunarwanto said Lukas Enembe as Governor of Papua for the 2013-2018 and 2018-2023 periods together with Mikael Kambuaya as Head of the Papua Public Works Service in 2013-2017 and Gerius One Yoman as Head of the Papua Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office in 2018-2021 received a total prize of IDR 45,843,485,350. "The prosecutor of this deception, it's not all true," added Lukas. On the sidelines of Lukas, Chief Justice Rianto Adam Ponto tried to calm Lukas. "For a moment, brother, don't disturb the trial, there will be time. This will give the public prosecutor the opportunity to read out the indictment. After that you can, you have to follow the trial process," said Rianto. Rianto said Lukas would be given the opportunity to reveal something but should not interfere with the reading of the indictment. "Don't be disturbed by the public prosecutor to read out the indictment, later the panel of judges will give you the opportunity to object to this indictment. We respect each other, sir, please respect us to lead the trial, don't cut it, calm down first, calm down," added Rianto. "The charges are not true," said Lukas. In this case, Lukas was charged with two charges. First, Lukas was charged with accepting bribes of Rp45,843,485,350 with details of Rp10,413,929,500 from businessman Piton Enumbi as Director and owner of PT Meonesia Mulia, PT Lingge-Lingge, PT Astrad Jaya and PT Melonesia Cahaya Timur and as much as Rp35,429,555,850 from Rijatono Lakka as Director of PT Tabi Anugerah Pharmindo, PT Tabi Bangun Papua as well as CV Walibhu. The second indictment, Lukas Enembe was charged with receiving gratuities in the form of Rp1 billion from Budy Sultan as Director of PT Indo Papua on April 12, 2013. Rijatono Lakka has also been sentenced to 5 years in prison by the Jakarta Corruption Court. Recently, the KPK has again named Lukas Enembe as a suspect in the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU). The KPK has confiscated a number of assets related to the Lukas Enembe case in various forms with a total value of more than Rp200 billion.

In April 2023, the KPK confiscated the assets of Lukas and parties suspected of being related to the case with a value of Rp. 60.3 billion. The assets are in the form of a number of plots of land, houses, and apartments spread across Jayapura, Papua, Bogor, West Java, and DKI Jakarta.
