Group 1 Of Lombok Embarkation Departs For The Holy Land, Ministry Of Religion Promises Sick Hajj Candidates To Follow

NTB - One candidate for the first batch of pilgrims for the Lombok Embarkation, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), must postpone his departure to the Holy Land.

Head of the Regional Office (Kakanwil) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) NTB Zamroni Aziz said that Suparman, who was sick, was replaced by other pilgrims who were also from East Lombok Regency.

"There is one prospective pilgrim on behalf of Suparman, 71 years old, the first batch from East Lombok Regency, according to the health team cannot be dispatched to Saudi Arabia," he said in Mataram, Tuesday, June 6, which was confiscated by Antara.

After Suparman was replaced, the first batch of Lombok Embarkation consisted of 388 candidates for regular Hajj pilgrims still departing with a predetermined schedule.

However, said Zamroni, if Suparman recovered later, he would be flown to the Holy Land to join other groups.

"We have anticipated for a replacement on behalf of Ahmad Dahlan from East Lombok. Later our congregation (Suparman) whose departure has been delayed because there is no health recommendation from the medical team, we will depart in the next batch," said Zamroni.

His party is waiting for the recommendation of the medical team regarding Suparman, before leaving for the Holy Land. He emphasized that Suparman was only delayed in departure while waiting for his health recommendations.

He said that Suparman's departure was delayed because it was detected by the medical team that he had internal medicine, so he now had to receive intensive care at the East Lombok District Hospital.

"We ask for prayers from the entire NTB community that it is very much needed for the healing of these pilgrims for Hajj candidates, including prayers for the smooth departure of all of our Hajj pilgrims until their return with the title of hajj and evening," he said.

It is known that the number of pilgrims for the Lombok Embarkation Hajj is 4,929 people. The Hajj pilgrims from NTB consist of 13 groups, one group 13 is a mixed group with the pilgrims of the Aceh Hajj candidate.
