Tangerang City Government Adds 2 New Health Centers, Equipped With An Emergency Room And Childbirth Room

TANGERANG - The Tangerang City Government, Banten Province through the Health Office added two new health centers, namely in Sudimara Pinang and Batusari, where they have started operating and serving the community.

Head of the Health Service, Dini Anggraeni said the Puskesmas Sudimara Pinang served the community in its working area, namely Sudimara Pinang Village and Pinang Village. Meanwhile, for the Batusari Health Center, namely Batujaya Village and Batusari Village.

"The Tangerang City Government added two new Puskesmas, namely the Puskesmas Sudimara Pinang and the Batusari Health Center. Both have started operating," Antara quoted early, Tuesday, June 6.

With the addition of the two new health centers, said Dini Anggraeni, currently in Tangerang City there are 39 health centers spread across 13 sub-districts.

Kasubag TU Puskesmas Batusari, Nofita Handayani in terms of current facilities and services, Puskesmas Batusari has started to gradually open an Emergency Unit (UGD) 24 hours and also an Obstetric Service Neonate Basic Emergency (PONED) or 24-hour delivery service.

Outpatient care generally also provides general treatment, treatment for the elderly, health care for KIA, family planning, immunization, nutrition consultation, adolescent health, environmental consultation, for supporting examinations we also have a laboratory for basic examinations.

It is hoped that the presence of two additional new Puskesmas can bring health access closer to the community. Thus, it is easier for people to get health services.

"Our hope is that the community will be easier and closer to getting health services, the community will also get faster service facilities," said Nofita Handayani.
