BPOM Batam Changes Import Certificate Rules To Make Licensing Easier

BATAM - Batam Food and Drug Supervisory Center (BPOM), Riau Islands, changed the rules for import certificates to this area to facilitate licensing goods from abroad entered Batam. "For the current import certificate, it has been changed, from 8 hours to five hours and for testing samples of goods entering from five days to two days," said Head of Balai POM Batam Lintang Purbajaya in Batam, Antara, Thursday, May 4. The change in the rule, he said, was due to the large number of services for providing import certificates for imported goods that entered Batam.
