The flood incident occurred on Tuesday night, starting at 01.25 WITA. Meanwhile, the report was received by the Central Sulawesi BPBD at around 10.16 WITA.
Andi Sembiring said the intensity of heavy rain that flushed accompanied by lightning at around 22.15 WITA to 00.15 WITA caused landslides at two locations which then caused river water to overflow inundated residents' settlements.
The Central Sulawesi Rapid Response Team (TRC) and local districts are still collecting field data.
"Four Heads of Families (KK) were severely affected by this incident and a house unit was heavily damaged," he said.
He continued, in this incident, there were no casualties and no residents were displaced, they remained in their respective homes.
Currently the water has gradually receded and residents are starting to clean their respective homes.
