Kendari City Government Prepares Sanctions For Postponing TPP Payments For ASNs Who Don't Pay Taxes

The Kendari City Government, Southeast Sulawesi, will delay the payment of additional employee income (TPP) for the Kendari City Government's civil apparatus (ASN) if they do not pay taxes. Acting (Pj) Kendari Mayor Asmawa Tosepu said this was a sanction for Kendari City Government ASN who were negligent in taxes. "I emphasize that ASNs who do not pay taxes will receive sanctions for delaying TPP payments," said Asmawa Tosepu in Kendari, Antara, Thursday, April 6. Asmawa revealed that his party will record all ASN in the Kendari City Government who have not paid the land and building tax (PBB). From this data, he said, it was the local city government's reference to suspend the disbursement of the ASN TPP. "So, this ASN not only demands rights, but also carries out obligations," he said. For this reason, he appealed to all ASN within the local city government to always obey tax payments. "That is for the development of our region," he said. He explained that the United Nations already has a very important role in supporting the development and contributors of the largest local revenue (PAD) in Kendari City. Meanwhile, the Head of the Kendari City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) Satria Damayanti said that the PBB payment could be online by accessing the Jakpa page (Pajak Menyapa) or it could also be done by making direct transfers to the UN account. PBB payments through bank transfers, he said, can be made in several banks, namely Bank Mandiri, Bank, BNI, Bank BTN, and Bank BRI, or commonly called Himbara.

"The payment can be made from now on, don't wait for it to mature," he said.
