Idgitaf Releases All Feelings Through Air Debut Album

JAKARTA - The young musician Idgitaf presented his first album titled "air" as a way to release all the feelings he got during the process of self-developing.

Dara, who is familiarly called Gita, hopes that the songs in "air" can voice the anxiety experienced by his generation.

There are nine songs in it that outline about releasing. Just like the album name, the song titled "Air" was chosen as the main song.

The song 'air' was created to describe the greatest love, telling how to give up someone loved to go and accept it again.

The biggest form of love is when we pray for them because when we pray for people, it could be that we are not in the same space and time as them. But because we love, we pray for them. That's a form of love is truly selfless in my opinion," Gita said in her statement, Friday.

For other songs in this album, they actually come from single-singles that have been released first, including One-One, Dirmaga, to Disappearance.

After talking about injuries, trauma, and fear of things that have not been passed.

Through this full album, Gita tries to provide a resolution for every conflict which is certainly more diverse than what she has stated in previous materials as summarized in the mini album "Hopefully Heal".

The Air List is more complete with the presence of new songs such as 'Starting' called the mantra on this album, then there is cheating' which expresses a sense of surrender.

Followed by completely as a clichtic love song, Akan Ku Kenang as an expression of everything sweet to remember, and Finished talking about life.

The overall process of album work has started since the release of the single one in June 2022. Gita made this album proof because she did not want to delay productivity in music.

"I want to have valid evidence as a musician. Of course, there is support that I, as a new person in this industry, have a lot of narratives in its entire, long form, that I want to share with people, who I want to listen to people," said Gita.

The making of the album "air" certainly involves many other parties such as Ibnu Dian (Matter Halo), Wisnu Ikhsantama W., as well as an accompanying band that often accompanies Gita gigs, The Brads consists of Michael Rodovan, Austin Ong, Ricco, Samuel, and Matthew.

The release of this album has been even more lively since Gita invited illustrators to make a translation in the form of a picture telling "air".

This is a unique way to introduce his new album and provide freshness in Gita's musical career.

The Air Album adds to Gita's musical record which has entered its 3rd year, since "Hal Indah Needs Time to Come" released as a single in December 2020.

Now "air" which contains nine songs can be enjoyed on various digital streaming platforms throughout Indonesia.

Gita also promised to present "air" in a special music tour at the end of 2023.
