JAKARTA - Guns N 'Roses guitarist Slash appeared in the Barbie film soundtrack.
In the premiere of the film in Los Angeles on July 9, Mark Ronson, who co-wrote the song I'm Just Ken with Andrew Right for the soundtrack, confirmed that Slash played guitar on the song.
Speaking to Variety, Ronson described Slash as "an all-time hero".
"I sent him the song and he said, 'It's a good song... cool, I'll play it.' he plays solo at the end and parts of the rhythm. It's amazing," added Ronson.

Apart from Slash, the artists involved in the Barbie film soundtrack include Billie Eilish and What Was I Made For?, then there are also Ava Max, Dominic Fike, Gayke, Haim, the Kid Laroi, and Lizzo.
So far, a number of songs from the film have been released, including the main single Dua Lipa, Dance The Night, the collaboration song Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, Barbie World, then Angel (Pink Pantess), Watati (Karol G), and Speed Drive (Charli XCX).
Barbie was released in theaters on July 21, 2023.
