JAKARTA - Gigi and Mikha Angelo participated in enlivening the line-up of domestic musicians We The Fest 2023 which will take place on July 21, 22, and 23, at GBK Sports Complex Senayan.
Both Gigi and Mikha Angelo looked enthusiastic to appear at the music festival which was driven by Ismaya Live. Both have their own stories with WTF.
Of the four Gigi personnel, Thomas Ramdhan sees WTF as a different music festival. He said Gigi's appearance in front of a much younger audience was a joy in itself.
"Usually I'm just between my children to watch WTF, this year it's even a performer. We are happy to have the opportunity to appear in front of the audience whose generation is younger than us," Thomas said during a press conference in Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta on Wednesday, July 5.
According to Thomas, Armand Maulana said Gigi's appearance at WTF was his opportunity to communicate with younger musicians.
"The festival is fun with many performers, many are younger. Here we can even know musicians who we have never heard of, in fact, they can be happy and finally become fans," said Armand.
In his appearance this time, Gigi will perform the best songs that have been released for 30 years of work.
"Jafi, this will be like a mini concert for best of Gigi," said Armand.
Meanwhile, Mikha Angelo, who finally had the opportunity to bring his own name to the WTF, was no less enthusiastic than his seniors.
