JAKARTA - Two baby owls rescued from below the Pyramid Stage in Glastonbury this year were named after Guns N 'Roses members.

The first owl was found by a festival visitor under the left ladder of Pyramid Stage, during the title of Guns N' Roses' two and a half-hour appearance as a headliner on June 24.

Visitors gave the rescued owl under the name Axl - according to the frontman of the band Axl Rose - and was taken to RSPCA West Hatch Wildlife near Taunton, before being transferred to a wildlife charity based in Somerset, Secret World Wildlife Rescue.

In just one day after Axl was placed under the main stage, the second hat bird was found in the same room and also taken to the rescue center.

Considered Axl's younger sister, she was named Slash - as a tribute to the nickname of Guns N'Roses guitarist Saul Hudson.
