JAKARTA - A German automotive company, Opel released a facelift Corsa Electric for the European market.

There are quite a lot of changes made by Opel on Corsa's electric vehicle. In terms of design, it looks smaller than Astra Electric. They also refresh the exterior, interior, and features of new technology.

Reporting from Inside EV, Wednesday, May 24, the first changes are on the front. With an update on the grip that connects to the LED Intelli-Lux front light matrix, the face of Corsa looks neater than the previous version.

For the interior to look not much different from Corsa's previous one, Opel made an update on the seat with the latest pattern, the latest screening lever, and an updated steering wheel.

The features embedded are also diverse, such as an updated AI system and Qualcomm Technologies-based infotainment system Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms and a 10-inch touch screen to make it easier for users of this car to access other features.

Even though it's common, for the first time Opel has embedded the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems in the Corsa model.

Opel provides two options for Corsa Electric 2024, namely with an electric motor measuring 134 dk which has a distance of 357 km and is 154 dk powered with a maximum range of 402 km. Both have a torque of 260 Nm.

As for the battery itself, Opel provides lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 54 kWh with impressive charging from 20 to 80 percent within 30 minutes.

Opel will send the Corse Electric 2024 to customers in Europe by the end of 2023.
