Simu Liu Denies Fighting With Ryan Gosling In Barbie Film Premiere

JAKARTA - Simu Liu responded to the news of his fight with Ryan Gosling at Barbie's release in Canada. A video circulated on social media on Wednesday, July 26 showing Simu and Gosling seen taking pictures together on the red carpet.

Simu Liu was seen putting his hand on and holding Ryan Gosling's waist before posing together. But Gosling asked Simu Liu to move his hand. The public guessed Gosling said, "Don't hold me there. Do you want me to be like that?"

In a short time, this video was spread and caused public suspicion that the two Ken actors in the Barbie film had conflicts.

Simu Liu then uploaded a photo with Ryan Gosling at the event on Instagram Story.

"I will relax on the beach with Kenadian. He is the best human in every aspect, especially when he jokes with us on carpets and shooting locations, infecting us all with his Kenergy," wrote Simu Liu.

The actor also asked the public to pay more attention to the strike action carried out by entertainment workers.

"Now let's get back to an important issue, such as supporting writers and strike actors to fight for a fair wage!" said Simu Liu.

Simu Liu and Ryan Gosling both played the character Ken in the film directed by Greta Gerwig. This film led the box office last week and is predicted to continue to grow.

On the other hand, the strike was carried out for several months. Last week a number of actors participated in protests including Bryan Cranston, Jessica Chastain,riam Pierce, Steve Buscemi, Brendan Fraser and others.

Dwayne Johnson also reportedly donated seven digits to help writers and actors on strike.
