Proud Of NKCTHI, Rio Dewanto Is The Main Focus Of Today's Film, We Will Tell You Later

JAKARTA - The World Later We Tell About Today (NKCTHI) comes with a new story, Today We Will Tell You Later (HIAKCN). Angga Dwimas Sasongko will end this franchise with the story of Angkasa, played by Rio Dewanto as the main focus.

"This figure of Angkasa is like wanting to replace his father. So the burden is quite heavy, I have a bigger dream but have a younger brother who grows up, like it or not, I am involved," said Rio Dewanto at a film press conference today, Wednesday, July 26 in South Jakarta.

"Once in a while, I had a problem expecting my mother to come, eh, even her father who came," explained Rio.

Rio Dewanto and Donny Damara as one of the main characters continued the conflict that had not been explored in several previous films. Angga explained that this franchise has the concept of a career journey.

"The character never stops at one point. Usually the film is divided into 3 rounds, but NKCTHI is prepared as a big world," added Angga Sasongko as the director.

Every event that grows is a new leap for its character. Space goes through reality and then it travels to London and then affects how it responds to the situation," he explained again.

Rio Dewanto, who joined since NKCTHI's first film, felt that this franchise was one of the magical projects. Thanks to the film, he admitted that he could have film with millions of viewers when it aired.

The film is 1 million viewers and when the film airs, many messages that enter stories about family and watching movies can be released. I told Marchella (the author of the book NKCTHI) and she said that's what she felt when she released the book. It's much more scaling, hopefully it reaches the audience," said Rio Dewanto.

With five films and two spin-offs, Angga Sasongko also said that this franchise developed according to what happened to the character. Angkasa's presence as the main character also clarifies the conflict that has not been conveyed.

Today We Will Tell You Later (HIAKCN) tells the story of Angkasa (Rio Dewanto) who is waiting for her mother's presence in Bali because she is having an argument with Lika (Agla Artalidia). However, Angkasa felt annoyed after finding out that his father, Narendra (Donny Damara).

On the other hand, young Narendra (Jourdy Pranata) found love with Ajeng (Yunita Siregar). The two of them met when they both felt a loss. Today's film We'll Tell You Later (HIAKCN) will be released on Netflix on July 27, 2023.
