Sofia Vergara And Joe Manganiello Divorce After 7 Years Of Marriage

JAKARTA - Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are reportedly divorced after being married for seven years. The statement released through their representative was released on Monday, July 18 containing the decision.

"We made a difficult decision to divorce. Like two people who love and care for each other, we ask for privacy right now as we direct a new part of our lives," the couple said in an official statement.

This statement was circulated a few days after Sofia Vergara celebrated her 51st birthday in Italy. In the uploaded photo, no Manganiello is usually seen present at every moment of Vergara.

In early July, Joe Manganiello uploaded a photo with Vergara to celebrate his wife's birthday.

"Feliz Cumplea sampadaos Sof Badminton!" wrote Joe Manganiello, who had made fans protest because there was no say or prayer for his wife.

The remarks were also judged to be different from the words Manganiello wrote last year where he added, "I love you so much."

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello met for the first time in 2014 when Vergara was still engaged to Nick Loeb. A few weeks later, Vergara announced that his relationship ended with Loeb and Manganiello claiming Vergara's number.

The couple then married in November 2015 in Florida. The wedding was attended by 350 guests including the cast of the Modern Family and True Blood series. The show also features Pitbull as a surprise guest for them.

During their seven years of marriage, their relationship was far from negative news. Last March they were also seen attending public events together. The news of this divorce shocked the public after Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez.
