The four young celebrities presented by Menpora Dito at the inauguration of the Indonesian contingent team for the 2023 SEA Games at the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) Field on Tuesday morning were Dustin Tiffani (komedian), Marshel Widianto (comics), Mikha Tambayong (artis), and Pander Yerry Pattinasarany (religious figures).
"Today we present young friends who will encourage our contingents, the majority of whom are not far from their ministers," Dito said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 2.
Menpora Dito revealed that four young celebrities were present at the moment of inaugurating the contingent because of their calling to give direct support to the SEA Games contingent.
"So we deliberately invite representatives because later they will support more. This is also their wish, as part of the call of fellow young people," said Dito.
Dito said that the role of these four young celebrities is expected to be able to attract the attention of all elements of society more quickly to provide great encouragement to the Red and White contingents at the biggest sporting event in the 32nd Southeast Asia.
"So God willing, the Indonesian contingent will echo its voice even more and embrace all elements of society to support and motivate enthusiasm for all Indonesian contingents," said Dito.
