Buya Hamka Premiere Gala In Jakarta Held Merily Decorated By Minangkabau Ornaments

JAKARTA - Buya Hamka's premiere Gala is broadcast simultaneously in 18 different cities today, Sunday, April 9. For Jakarta, Falcon Pictures and Starvision production films will be screened at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta.

Buya Hamka's gala premiere series was held all day. Based on VOI's monitoring, XXI Epicentrum during the day was already crowded with invited guests.

Around the location of the cinema, several Minangkabau ornaments were seen, which depict where Buya Hamka came from. Some of the invited guests who attended also wore the typical clothes of the West Sumatra tribe.

Not only that, there is also a large screen that is presented to be able to communicate with other cities that also host gala premieres.

Frederica as the producer said that the gala premiere was lively as a tribute to the nation's figure Buya Hamka.

"We are working on this film, with great hard work and great costs. The gala premiere event was also made luxurious and lively, as a form of respect for the Buya Hamka figure. We are trying to give our best for the film Buya Hamka," said Frederica in a written release received by VOI, Sunday, April 9.

Meanwhile, Vino G Bastian, who played the character Buya Hamka in the film, welcomed the fiercely made premier gala. He felt that the hard work of all parties in the process of working on the film paid off seeing the great enthusiasm of the community.

"I'm very happy, after all these years the Buya Hamka film can finally be shown in theaters. Frankly, I didn't expect the gala premiere to be made this luxurious. Hopefully, what we have given for this film can provide guidance for the audience," said Vino.

Apart from Jakarta, Buya Hamka's premiere gala was also held in Tangerang, Depok, Bogor, Bandung, Padang, Medan, Palembang, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Malang, Jember, Surabaya, Makassar, Banjarmasin, Solo, Lampung and Pekanbaru.

Besides Vino G Bastian who plays Buya Hamka, this film also stars Laudya Chintya Bella, Donny Damara, Anjasmara, Reza Rahardian, and various other top-flight names such as Ayu Laksmi, Marthino Lio, Reybong, Mawar De Jongh, Mathias Muchus Verdi Solaeman, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Ben Kasyafani, Wafda Lubis, Ferry Salim, Donny Kesuma, Cok Simbara, Roy Sungkono, Yoriko Angeline, Ajil Ditto, Zayyan Sakha, and Yoga Pratama.

Buya Hamka will be shown simultaneously in cinemas throughout Indonesia on April 20.
