JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will build a Flats belonging to the Building Ownership Certificate (SKBG) in Bandung City, West Java.

Director General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing Herry Trisaputra Zuna said the project was a Government Cooperation with Business Entity (KPBU) Cisaranten Flats, Bina Harapan City, Bandung.

This project is a pilot project directed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in the housing sector to achieve the 2020-2024 RPJMN target.

"We appreciate the support that has been given by the Bandung City Government. The Cisaranten Flats KPBU project will provide 1,879 units. This flat will have 10-11 floors with combinations ranging from studios, 1BR, 2 BR, 3 BR, to special units disabled," said Herry in his written statement, Monday, July 10.

Hery said the flats would be built under the SKBG scheme, namely the ownership of a limited flat for 60 years which could be extended for 30 years, before being returned to the government at the end of the SKBG period.

"The location of the KPBU Project for the strategic Cisarantan Flats is near the center of Bandung, around Jl AH Nasution, Bandung City. The Cisarantan Flats will have complete facilities carrying the theme of green buildings with an economic and environmentally friendly view riverside," he said.

He added that the price of the flats will be affordable starting from Rp250 million, light installments, and will receive subsidies for financing from the government for those who meet the requirements.
