Safari Ramadan BUMN 2023, Collaboration Of The Ministry Of SOEs And PGN Holds Cheap Markets

JAKARTA - In order to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of SOEs together with PT PGN Tbk held the 2023 BUMN Ramadan Safari activity in Krukut Village, West Jakarta on Thursday 30 March. This activity was held in order to provide benefits and blessings in the Holy Month of Ramadan for the surrounding community.

A total of 1000 cheap food packages are distributed to the people of Krukut Village. The food packages sold at a price of IDR 55,000 consist of 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of oil and 1 kg of sugar.

People who want to buy food packages are required to register according to their respective RW areas by bringing their respective ID cards and coupons that have been distributed by each RT. The distribution of these cheap basic food packages was enthusiastically welcomed by the sub-district head and residents around Krukut.

The existence of this cheap basic food bazaar provides opportunities for residents to get basic necessities at affordable prices during this month of Ramadan.

In addition to cheap basic necessities, there is also an MSME bazaar from residents around Krukut Village who sell various takjil and there is free homecoming registration. This free homecoming is targeted to attract approximately 50 participants and will depart together on April 18, 2023.

The Head of the Taman Sari Sub-district, Agus Sulaiman, expressed his gratitude and gratitude for the program initiated by the Ministry of SOEs together with PGN. Agus also expressed his hope that the PGN CSR program could continue and have a positive impact on the residents of Krukut Village.

"Thank you profusely (to BUMN and PGN), with the hope that God willing, it will not only be limited to this bazaar activity, we still hope that from the existing activities, other CSR programs can certainly help the residents of Krukut Village and have a positive impact on us," said Agus, in his statement, quoted Monday, April 3.

PGN Corporate Secretary Rachmat Hutama hopes that cheap basic food packages can be useful for the community and improve good relations between SOEs and the people of Krukut. Especially in this month of Ramadan, as well as a form of PGN activities with the Ministry of SOEs to spread good energy, the community is helped regarding basic daily needs.

At the time of going home, it is hoped that it will help people who want to celebrate Eid with their families in their hometowns, through a homecoming program with SOEs.

"The growth in gratitude for the sustenance and achievements of the company we share with the community, so that it creates energy to share in line with the spirit of energyizing your life to be able to bring benefits to the surroundings. This is also part of the social responsibility of SOEs," said Rachmat.

The Krukut community also expressed their joy after getting a cheap food package and praying that PGN would be more successful in the future.

"It's nice to get cheap food packages during the month of Ramadan. It contains sugar, rice, oil, very helpful for household expenses. Hopefully, it will be a blessing for PGN and success in the future," said Tari (36), a resident of Krukut Village.
