Launching A New Application, BP Tapera Wants To Make It Easier For People To Buy Subsidized Houses

JAKARTA - The Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) officially launched the Tapera Mobile application to make it easier for the public to apply for a number of housing ownership credit services, including subsidized houses.

In addition, Tapera Mobile can also be used by developers in marketing built housing.

"The Tapera Mobile application aims to facilitate the business process of distributing housing financing for Tapera houses and managing Tapera membership savings," said BP Tapera Commissioner Adi Setianto at the launch of the Mobile Tapera application which was monitored online, on Wednesday, August 2.

Adi said the application would also be used to collect data on the trend of increasing housing by BP Tapera. This is because his party wants the provision of houses in the future to adjust to the pattern of demand, so that the houses built can be fully absorbed by participants.

"The application business process brings together the community to our stakeholders, such as developers and banks who have partnered with us," he said.

Through this application, said Adi, later people will only need to access one application to achieve products and services at BP Tapera.

On the same occasion, the Director General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing at the PUPR Ministry, Herry Trisaputra Zuna, said that so far, access to housing loans prepared directly by BP Tapera is still being carried out manually.

Thus, low-income people (MBR) are getting further and further away from the hope of owning a house due to the lack of information.

"In that regard, made by a Tapera Mobile, he connects stakeholders who distribute housing. There are developers who offer their houses, there are banks that offer their mortgages, and there is BP Tapera that distributes aid," he said.
