50 Days Of The National Police's TIP Task Force Formed, 855 Suspects Arrested
JAKARTA - The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo's Criminal Action Task Force (TPPO) has been operating for 50 days. As a result, 855 people were arrested throughout Indonesia.
"The number of suspects in the TIP case is 855 people," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Wednesday, July 26.
The arrest of hundreds of suspects was based on a police report (LP) received by the TIP Task Force at the Bareskrim level to the regional police from June 5 to July 25.
There were 717 prisons received. However, there are still small reports that are still being investigated.
"Police reports totaled 717 reports. The number of victims of TIP who were rescued was 2,186 people," he said.
