35 Ambulances Deployed Evacuation Of Toxic Residents At The Recess Of Members Of The Cimahi City DPRD
A total of 35 ambulances were dispatched to evacuate poisoned residents due to eating food at the recess event for members of the Cimahi City DPRD in Padasuka Village, Central Cimahi District, Cimahi City.
"There are a total of 15 sub-district ambulances, but eight units are used. Plus assistance from the community and volunteers there are 35 ambulances (used)," said Cimahi City Alert Service Chairperson Yopi Yana in Cimahi, Monday, July 24, as reported by Antara.
"Per ambulance itu rata-rata antar pasien ke rumah sakit empat hingga lima kali. Ada yang dijemput di rumah, ada yang dari Kelurahan (Padsuka)," sambung Yopi.
Yopi said that the poisoning incident was discovered on Sunday, July 23, at around 01.00 WIB. At that time, residents asked for ambulance assistance to take their neighbors who experienced similar symptoms of poisoning such as diarrhea, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.
Residents who experience symptoms of poisoning are known to have previously consumed rice boxes from the recess event of members of the Cimahi City DPRD which took place in Padasuka Village, on Saturday, July 22.
"The recess event was on Saturday (July 22), early Sunday morning, someone reported it with various symptoms," said Yopi, who is also an ambulance driver.
According to him, residents who experience similar symptoms of poisoning come to Pasuka Village from Sunday, July 23 morning to evening so their condition feels tense.
"Almost all of the ambulances on standby belonging to all urban villages in Cimahi City were finally deployed, because the patients were getting worse," he said.

According to him, people who experienced similar symptoms of poisoning were immediately taken to hospitals in Cimahi City so that they could immediately get help because the nearest health center that day was closed.
"Because the patient's condition continues to increase, finally asked for additional ambulance assistance to areas in West Bandung and volunteers," he said.
The number of people who experienced similar symptoms of poisoning after eating food from the recess of DPRD members in Padasuka Village was reported to be around 300 people, from Setiamanah Village, Cimahi Village, and Padasuka Village.
Residents who experience similar symptoms of poisoning until Monday afternoon July 24, still arriving at the Padasuka Health Center, which is used as a Food Toxic Handling Command Post.
Some residents who experience similar symptoms of poisoning only need outpatient treatment. However, there are also patients who need further treatment so they are taken to the hospital by ambulance.
In an effort to find out the cause of poisoning, the Padasuka Health Center on Sunday, July 23, has sent samples of food consumed by people who have symptoms of poisoning to the West Java Provincial Health Laboratory.
The Puskesmas is still waiting for the results of the examination of food samples from the laboratory.
