Japan Open 2023: Three Men's Doubles Still Have Homework
JAKARTA Three Indonesian men's doubles still have homework ahead of the Japan Open 2023 tournament which will take place from Tuesday, July 25 to Sunday, July 30.
Men's doubles coach Aryono Miranat said that the three men's doubles that needed evaluation were Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, and Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Rambitan. All three are considered to still make their own mistakes.
Leo/Daniel, Bagas/Fikri and Pramudya/Yeremia, must indeed be evaluated. They appear not at their level, do too many unfair errors in the field," said Aryono in an official statement received.
"From the mental side of the match, it must also be revived. Hopefully in the future they can give better things," he added.
On the other hand, Aryono said that a better performance had been successfully shown by the world number one pair Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.
The pair managed to reach the Korean Open final last week. Unfortunately, in the final party, both of them had to surrender at the hands of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty from India.

If you look back, Fajar/Rian's performance in the three tournaments results are not satisfactory, their game is also less than in. Then at the Korea Open I saw from the beginning to the final, their game had started to return to the best form, believing that he had also returned, he was able to bring out his abilities," he said.
In addition to the four men's doubles above, the Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan pair will also appear at the Japan Open 2023. In total, Indonesia has 15 representatives who participated in the Super 750 BWF level event.
The other ten representatives who will participate in this event are four mixed doubles, three men's singles, one women's singles, and two women's doubles.
