Police Disbanded The Bajing Kids Student Gang In Bali
DENPASAR - Denpasar Police Chief Kombes Bambang Yugo Pamungkas dispersed a youth gang calling himself "Bajing Kids".
This was conveyed by Bambang Yugo when bringing together the students who were members of "Bajing Kids", with their parents, the Denpasar City Education and Sports Office, the school and the Indigenous Village Council at the Gatra Building, Denpasar Police, Friday, July 21.
Bambang said the meeting which presented various elements of the government and society was very important considering that students affiliated with the Bajing Kids group took actions that were inappropriate and disturbed the community.
In addition, the actions of students in the jurisdiction of the Denpasar Police also received attention from the Bali Police Chief Inspector General Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra to immediately take firm action so as not to disturb public security and order.
Untuk itu, pertemuan Polresta Denpasar bersama Disdikpora Kota Denpasar, Majelis Desa Adat, orang tua siswa dan pihak sekolah diharapkan menjadi babak aksi kelompok Bajing Kids yang ramai dibincangkan masyarakat Bali beberapa waktu terakhir.
The police chief revealed that a group of Bajing Kids students had been formed since 2008. In time, the group had disbanded and revived in 2019, then expanded to date with 41 members.
During the meeting, all parties agreed to disband the Bajing Kids group. Furthermore, parents and children were asked to make a statement not to be involved again with the Bajing Kids group.
"The Denpasar Police and the ranks in the future will further optimize the role of the Sipdandu Indigenous Party (Indigenous Village-Based Integrated Security System), which of course also cooperates with the parents of the children because at school it is only seven hours and more time outside of school," said Bambang as quoted by ANTARA.
He asked parents to play an active role in taking care of their children so as not to carry out negative activities outside the school which can have an impact on the future of their children.
"This is a lesson for all, as parents to supervise children more and take advantage of time to positive things," said the former Sukoharjo Police Chief.

Another thing that the Denpasar Police Chief revealed regarding the video of the Bajing Kids group was acts of violence and money levies.
Bambang said the action seen in the video footage circulating on social media was only a joke of friendship in the Bajing Kids group. Meanwhile, the Rp50,000 levy was used to rent villas and party alcohol.
Meanwhile, Denpasar City Head of Department of Education and Youth and Sports, AA Gede Wiratama, who was present at the meeting, said that his party would immediately summon the head of the Denpasar Sekota Junior High School to follow up on the results of the meeting with the Denpasar City Police.
"We will immediately summon the principals and will ask them to check at each school. If there are students involved, immediately take anticipatory steps and play an active role in carrying out coaching," said Gede Wiratama.
