Hyundai Exter Enters Indonesia, This Is HMID's Answer

Hyundai has released a compact-sized SUV at an affordable price called Exter which will be marketed in India. Despite the tiny size for SUVs, Exter offers advanced technology that is able to meet the mobility needs of its users.

In addition, Exter, who is a twin of Nepal's Hyundai, also has a spacious cabin room to accommodate five to six passengers.

The presence of Exter with various interesting features in a compact body, makes it the ideal choice as an everyday vehicle for the people of Indonesia.

Head of Public Relations of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), Maritime Affairs Simanjuntak, stated that the company is always committed to providing the best vehicles in its product lineup.

This SUV is equipped with the latest interior features, such as a digital cluster of 4.2-inch instruments, a colorful TFT Multi Information, wireless device charging, Cruise Control, Multi Drive Information, Door Open Information, and others.

To provide security for consumers, Hyundai Exter is equipped with security systems such as Emergency Stop Signal, Hill Assist Control, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Rear View Monitor Drivers, and 6 airbags.

As a rival of Toyota Raize, Hyundai Exter offers three machine options, namely 1.2 liters of Kappa Manual, 1.2 liters of Kappa Automatic, and 1.2 liters of bi-fuel with manual transmission.

For the initial option, the Exter with a 1.2 liter Kappa Manual engine emits 81 dk and 113 Nm of torque, while the automatic transmission has the same power.

For high efficiency levels, the 1.2 liter bi-fuel option is the right choice with 67 dk power and 95 Nm torque, and fuel efficiency reaches 27.1 km/kg.

Hyundai Exter is priced starting at 5.99.900 Indian rupees or around Rp. 110.3 million for the EX variant. While the highest variant, SX (O) Connect, sells for 9.99.990 Indian rupees or equivalent to Rp. 183.7 million.
