Holds Case Of Blasphemy Of Religion Panji Gumilang, Police Wait For Labfor Results To Check Viral Videos Of Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School
Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General of Police Sandi Nugroho asked the public to wait for the results of the investigation into alleged criminal acts of blasphemy by the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) leader, Panji Gumilang.
"It will soon be held (the case, ed)," said Sandi when met at the Perbakin Shooting Field, Jakarta, Saturday, July 15, was confiscated by Antara.
He revealed that currently the National Police is still waiting for the results from the forensic laboratory or laboratory related to the viral video examination of Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.
In addition, the National Police are still completing the testimony of witnesses and evidence.
Sandi said that the equipment was aimed at providing clear information to the public about the events that occurred.
"So please wait, be patient, so that later we will get more complete information," said Sandi.
When asked about the alleged money laundering crime related to the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Sandi emphasized that the National Police was focusing on handling the reported cases, namely the alleged blasphemy.
"It is better for us to focus on the problem by involving all related parties to be able to explain all the events that occurred," he said.

Previously, investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) Bareskrim Polri summoned four witnesses in the investigation into alleged criminal acts of blasphemy by the Al Zaytun Panji Gumilang Islamic Boarding School Leader on Friday, July 14.
Ramadhan said the four witnesses had the initials CHMP, LH, C, and FAW. Two of them CHMP and LH fulfilled the Police summons. They arrived from 10:00 am, questioned for more than 10 hours.
Until now investigators have examined more than 20 related witnesses, including expert witnesses (language experts, ITE experts, criminal experts, sociologists, and religious experts).
Ramadhan added that Bareskrim Polri investigators focused on handling the alleged blasphemy case by Panji Gumilang, not leading to the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU).
"Once again this is an alleged violation. If later development has been carried out and finding out whether there are suspects, determining that the suspect will depend on the investigation of the investigator," said Ramadhan.
