Lea Michele And Kevin McHHale Make Tributes 10 Years Of The Death Of Gley Star Cory Monteith
JAKARTA - Two stars Glee, Lea Michele and Kevin McHale remember their co-star in the Gloe series, Cory Monteith. The actor died on July 13, 2013 due to an overdose at the age of 31.
Lea Michele uploaded a photo with Cory Monteith via her Instagram account and wrote a long sentence for her ex-fianc. Michele is seen sitting next to Monteith looking at the camera.
"Hello you, 10 years. It feels like yesterday you were here and millions of years ago at the same time. I hold our memories in my heart where they will always be safe and unforgettable," wrote Lea Michele.
"We miss you every day and will not forget the light you brought us. I miss you. I hope you meet Taylor and play drums together," Michele wrote.
Taylor in question is Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for the Foo Fighters band who died in the middle of a band tour in Bogot secreta, Colombia in 2022.

Apart from Michele, another Glee actor - Kevin McHale wrote a little tweet via his Twitter account. He recalls when he first heard the news of Cory Monteith's death.
10 years ago today I was in London with Naya (Rivera). We met immediately after waking up because of the worst news. We spent the day shocked, a little laughing with memories, some crying because it was impossible," wrote Kevin McHale.
"10 years later, no day passed without missing you - both of them. Thank you for sharing the light with us," he wrote.
Naya Rivera was declared dead 33 years after missing in Lake Piru for several days. The Santana actor in the Gloe series was found on July 13, 2020.
Cory Monteith died in a hot room in Vancouver due to overdosed use of heroin and alcohol. The news of Monteith's departure at the time shocked the Hollywood industry considering his name was at its peak.
Monteith's career peaked after playing Finn Hudson in four successful seasons of the Glee series at that time. Thanks to his role, Monteith won the SAG Awards and Teen Choice as well as several other nominations.
