Ahead Of The Launch Of All-New Triton, Mitsubishi Reveals Its Tough Specifications

JAKARTA - Ahead of the launch of the latest Triton, Mitsubishi Motors, as the automaker announced further specifications regarding the update to this pickup.

This pickup is said to have new components such as machines, chassis, and body that adopt the design of the XRT Concept, so it can be relied on in various terrains.

Mitsubishi Motors has developed the latest glider frame chassis so that users feel more secure in all conditions, including when used to deal with extreme areas.

The Japanese manufacturer guarantees that cars have a high level of resilience including presenting the latest double wishbone front suspensions and back suspensions that provide good driving performance.

Not only tough frames and suspensions, Mitsubishi also introduced the latest diesel turbo engine that offers the highest performance and is able to adapt to various conditions with higher power.

Yoshiki Masuda, Chief Product Specialist Mitsubishi Motors, stated that they have conducted surveys on customers to understand the needs and uses, so that they can develop the latest Triton into reliable vehicles. Mitsubishi also carried out repeated testing to produce pickups with impressive performance.

"We believe this model will satisfy all customers around the world, from casual use to commercial use. Look forward to the launch of the All-new Triton," Masuda said in an official statement on Monday, July 10.

All-new Triton Mitsubishi will debut on Wednesday, July 26 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the launch to be officially broadcast via live streaming services on certain websites.

After launch, all-new Triton will participate in the Asia Rally Cross Country Rally 2023 with the factory racing division team, Team Ralliart, which will develop this car in the rally competition.

The Asia Cross Country Rally 2023 competition will begin ceremonially on August 13 in Pattaya, Thailand, and the rally will begin the following day. The participants will take their cars across the Cambodian border. They will enter Laos on August 17 and reach the finish line on Saturday, August 19.

During the rally, the riders will drive the latest Triton for 2,000 km, including more than 1,000 km at a special stage.

The Asia Cross Country Rally 2023 has a variety of terrains, including mountains, heavy rain, muddy roads, and river crossings, different from previous years.

The racers who will drive the latest Triton include Thai racer Chayapon Yotha, as well as Japanese racer Katsuhiko Taguchi, and experienced rally racer from Indonesia, Rifat Sungkar.
