Heru Budi Responsibility To His Subordinates Regarding Blok G Tanah Abang Becomes A Thug Nest
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono was reluctant to comment on the condition of Blok G Tanah Abang Market which is a hotbed for thugs and a place to consume methamphetamine.
Heru threw the responsibility to resolve this problem to his subordinates, namely the Mayor of Central Jakarta and the head of Perumda Pasar Jaya.
"We'll see later PD Pasar Jaya. Later, if there is a criminal problem, tell the mayor," said Heru briefly, met at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, July 10.
Tanah Abang Market Blok G, Central Jakarta, is increasingly neglected and missed the supervision of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The function of the Blok G market as a place to buy and sell clothes under the auspices of Perumda Pasar Jaya, now only memories.
The market area has now changed its function to a gathering place for thugs, pickpockets, and drug users to a liquor party (alcohol).
Based on the results of the investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanah Abang Metro Police on the 2nd floor of Tanah Abang Market Blok G, Central Jakarta, it turned out that evidence of a methamphetamine-type drug suction device was found which was allegedly used by thugs around the location.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, Kompol Kukuh Islami, explained that the bottles found were relatively new and the conditions on the 2nd and 3rd floors were very dirty and dusty.
"Earlier, we from the police station conducted sweeps on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Then we found the bottles used by drug users on the 2nd floor," said Kukuh Friday, July 7.
Furthermore, Kukuh said that his party jumped because of the news report obtained and immediately checked. In this case, the police will make disclosures that occur in Block G.
"We will investigate and continue to disclose," he said.
Perumda Pasar Jaya finally locked the access fence tight to the 2nd and 3rd floors of Tanah Abang Market Blok G, Central Jakarta, which was allegedly a hotbed for thugs and narcotics users.
"The hashtag is locked so that the public and traders do not have access freely to the 2nd and 3rd floors. This is done to avoid misuse of the 2nd and 3rd floors of Tanah Abang Market Block G," said Perumda Pasar Jaya Public Relations Manager, Agus Lamun.
In addition, Pasar Jaya has also coordinated with the relevant security forces to check the location where the crime was suspected at Tanah Abang Market Block G.
"The management of Perumda Pasar Jaya has taken preventive measures to ensure that there are no criminal acts in the markets related to issues circulating regarding crimes that occurred at Tanah Abang Market Block G," he said.
