Kia Launches Latest Picanto More Efficient And Low Emissions

JAKARTA - The automotive manufacturer from southern Korea, Kia, has officially released an update version on the Picanto 2023 model which has a very different design from the previous version.

Kia's latest compact hatchback not only has a different design, but is also embedded with advanced technology to meet customer mobility needs and add new driving experiences.

Quoted from Kia's official website, Tuesday, July 4, with the philosophy of "Opposites United" design, Picanto has come with a different design by combining elements of GT-Line modernity and sporty.

On the front, Kia Picanto 2023 has the latest front bumper and manufacturer-owned "Tiger Nose" design. With the headlights running downwards, this brings Picanto to a glimpse like Kia EV9 with a tiny size version.

On the back, the design is redesigned with a simplified display by displaying vertical connectivity between the back light and the back bumper.

Meanwhile, on the side, highlighting dynamic and modern urban elements with different rims with 14-inch, 15-inch, and most recent 16-inch sizes from alloys.

Switching to the interior, Kia presents an 8-inch touch screen as a navigation system embedded with a Bluetooth multiconnection feature compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This car user can also connect Picanto to the Kia Connect App app available on Android and Apple devices, which helps users to find out navigation.

The safety feature was also presented at the latest Kia Picanto, consisting of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5 (FCA), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Warning and Leading Vehicle Departure Warning (DAW+), Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) and Lane Following Assist (LFA).

To assist users in controlling cars during braking and cornering, Kia also presents Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and Straight-line Stability (SLS).

Moving to the heart of the runway, the latest Kia Picanto is offered with two gasoline engine options, namely 1.0 liters and 1.2 liters. Although the manufacturer did not tell about the strength of the engine, each powertrain had its own advantages.

For 1.0 liter machines it offers high efficiency to customers, while 1.2 liter engines are the best choice for customers who want to experience driving with greater power.

Both offer low emission levels. The machine is also presented with a better exhaust recirculation pathway and optimized entry valve timing. Each engine provides better room cooling thanks to a new upgrade.

To optimize vehicle performance, the Hyundai i10 relative has five manual accelerations and Automated Manual transmissions from Kia.

Kia has not given this price value to Picanto. As an illustration, the current generation of Kia Picanto is priced at IDR 220.95 million. With some updates and performance improvements, it's not surprising that the price will increase.
